  Painting breaks in the lake district  
 
   
  These photos were taken during a recent break in the lakes ( mid Feb 2008 ! ) As you can see there were plenty of inspirational views.

    This small family run hotel in the heart of the Lake District, was ideally situated for some excellent landscape painting. I found it a very welcoming, friendly and comfortable place. The food was excellent. I enjoyed my stay and hope to return soon.
